Screentech Imaging boasts a rich, half-century of sign-making history, originating and progressing through the dedication and commitment of three generations of the Roeda family. Our founder Neil Roeda opened Roeda Signs in 1954, in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Originally concentrating on commercial signage for businesses in the area, the company created expertly crafted, hand-lettered work on billboards, vehicles and exterior markings.
As the excellent reputation of the organization expanded throughout the Chicagoland area, Neil's three sons, who learned the trade from their father, envisioned opportunities to expand the company into a nationwide manufacturer in the mid-80’s, by investigating, and moving forward with purchases for creating Decals and Point-of-Purchase marketing materials utilizing Screen-printing machinery. Thus, Screentech Imaging, a division of Roeda Signs was born, and the company continues to market its wares through direct mail catalogs sent to various industries seeking high quality design, at fair prices, delivered in a timely fashion. Niches for the types of industries catered to include the Rental and Construction Industry, and the Portable Sanitation and Waste and Recycling industries.
Roeda Signs continues to thrive in the Chicago area, dedicated to servicing satisfied customers in the community. We have been producing durable, attractive vinyls, utilizing computer-cut machinery for a variety of vehicle graphic and signage needs for almost 20 years. ScreenTech Imaging, which now incorporates the hands on efforts of our patriarchs’ grandchildren, as well as the talents of an ever-growing number of designers, printers and sales staff, aggressively pursues solutions to aid customers in their pursuit of highly effective marketing recognition and event solutions. Our facility has tripled in size, and our current production capabilities include Large and Grand Format Digital printing services and installation. We pride ourselves on our efforts to partner with our clients to go from concept to creation in a manner which meets or exceeds expectation.
